Day 1: Cusco - km 82 - Hatun chaka Camping

Our 5-day Inca Trail adventure begins in the city of Cusco. Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up directly from your hotel and take you to the charming town of Ollantaytambo. There, we'll enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing by vehicle to kilometer 82 — the official starting point of the Inca Trail.

The first day covers a gentle 11 km hike, leading us to our first campsite at Hatunchaka. This special 5-day version of the Inca Trail is designed for those who want a quieter, more relaxed experience — walking with fewer people on the trail and taking more time to truly connect with nature and the spirit of the Andes.

Day 2 : Hatunchaka - Dead Womens Pass - Pacay Mayo

This second day is one of the most anticipated and unforgettable moments for every trekker on the Inca Trail. It’s not just a physical challenge,  it’s a personal journey. Climbing to the highest point of the entire trail, Dead Woman’s Pass, is a true test of strength, determination, and spirit.

The trek covers 12 kilometers, with a steady 6-hour ascent that pushes you both mentally and physically. But reaching the summit is incredibly rewarding , a moment of triumph that stays with you forever. After conquering this pass, the trail becomes noticeably easier, allowing you to relax and enjoy the path ahead

Day 3: Pacaymayo Alto - Runcu Racay Inca Site - Phuyupatamarca

You'll wake up to a special treat, our team will bring a warm “wake-up tea” right to your tent to start your day gently and with energy. After that, enjoy a delicious and hearty breakfast to recharge for another unforgettable journey along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

This day covers around 12 kilometers of hiking, filled with surprises and breathtaking moments. As we ascend, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the Peruvian Andes, and slowly, the landscape will shift as we enter the edge of the Amazon jungle. Along the way, we’ll visit several Inca archaeological sites, each with its own story, bringing the ancient trail to life and deepening your connection to this sacred path

Day 4: Phuyupata Marca - Wiñayhuayna - Sun Gate - Machu Picchu- Aguas Caleintest Town

This day begins with a special touch, a warm coffee delivered right to your tent to gently wake you up. Then, enjoy a hearty breakfast to fuel up for our final journey toward the crown jewel of the Andes: Machu Picchu.

After breakfast, we'll explore the stunning ruins of Phuyupatamarca, known as "The City Above the Clouds." From there, the trail begins to descend into a more lush, jungle-like landscape. Along the way, we’ll visit Wiñay Wayna,  often called the “Mini Machu Picchu”  one of the most beautiful and well-preserved sites along the Inca Trail.

The total distance today is around 12 kilometers, leading us all the way to the legendary Sun Gate (Inti Punku), where you'll catch your first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu. After taking your classic photos, we’ll head down by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you’ll spend the night comfortably in a hotel

Day 5: Bus To Machu Picchu Inca Ruins To Explore - Train To Cusco

On our final day, we’ll wake up early and enjoy breakfast at the hotel before taking the bus back to the mystical Lost City of the Incas. The ride takes about 30 minutes to reach the main entrance of Machu Picchu.

There, we’ll begin a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, where your guide will share the rich history, deep meaning, and sacred energy of this awe-inspiring wonder of the world.

After the tour, we’ll return to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a well-deserved lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll board the train back to Ollantaytambo, and from there, a private transfer will take us to the city of Cusco — bringing your unforgettable Inca Trail adventure to a perfect close.
