Day 1: Cusco - 7 Lagoon - Upis

On the first day, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and drive for about 3 hours to the base of Ausangate Mountain, a charming Andean village. After a short break with hot coffee or chocolate, we continue to Pacchanta, the starting point of our trek to the 7 Lagoons of Ausangate.

The hike takes you through breathtaking scenery—turquoise lagoons, highland communities, and herds of alpacas, llamas, and native birds. After exploring these magical landscapes, we enjoy a freshly prepared Andean lunch made with local ingredients.

This day marks the beginning of an unforgettable adventure through the Andes, leading us to the world-famous Rainbow Mountain

Day 2: Upis - Red Summit - Ananta Pata

On our second day, you will wake up in your tent with a warm coca tea, served by our team to give you energy for the hike ahead. The adventure begins with the ascent to Upis Pass, the highest point of the route, where you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Andean mountains painted in natural colors.

From here, we descend to the beautiful Ausangate Lagoon, an extraordinary turquoise lake where we will stop for a freshly prepared Andean lunch with incredible panoramic views.

After a short rest, we continue the trek with an ascent to the second pass, Puka Khasa, where you will catch your first glimpse of the famous Rainbow Mountain.

Finally, we descend for about two hours to our campsite at Ananta Pampa, where we will spend the night surrounded by the majestic landscapes of the Andes.

Day 3 : Ananta Pata - Warmi Saya - Rainbow Mountain

On the third and final day, we will wake you early with a warm drink and a nutritious breakfast to prepare for the last stretch of this unforgettable adventure. Our hike begins before sunrise, allowing us to reach Warmisaya Pass, the highest point of the day. From here, we descend toward a stunning turquoise lagoon, a sign that we are nearing the world-famous Rainbow Mountain.

The final climb is short but challenging, with every step bringing you closer to the majestic sight of Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain), whose vibrant natural colors make it one of the most iconic landmarks in Peru. By starting early, we arrive before the large crowds from Cusco, giving you the best opportunity to enjoy the views in peace.

At the summit, you’ll have time to capture breathtaking photos, take in the panoramic scenery, and truly appreciate the magic of this sacred Andean wonder. Afterward, we descend for about an hour to our final lunch stop, where our team will serve a well-deserved meal before we return by private transport to Cusco.
