Choquetacarpu is a magical place with a history of the Inca stonemasons, this third day is very smooth and with many surprises. After our breakfast we will walk a route down about 40 minutes to reach the Inca quarries and also see the Inca tombs in this place, a short time guide and then continue with the walk to the camp where we will have lunch and end of the hike. This day we will start with the incredible Inca trail that will take us to the ruins of Machupicchu. Our wake up will be early in the morning around 5:00 am so we can have breakfast and take a local car for our transfer to the train station which is located in the town of Ollantaytambo, a 20-minute drive to get to the train station.
Here we board the tourist train for the two-day Inca Trail, a total train ride will take one hour to get off the train and follow the Inca Trail to Machupicchu ruins, the train stop is in a sector called Chacha Bamba Ruins from this point we It will take the adventure of a time of 6 hours until being in the second most admirable of inti Punku or Puerta del Sol This part of the walk is 3 hours gentle ascent and 2 hours easy flat to Puerta del Sol and from there we have a gentle descent with time 40 minutes to reach the wonder of the ancient world.
We will be there around 3:30 pm photos in the ruins and we go down to the bus station to continue going down to the town of Aguas Calientes where we will stay in a hotel like this to enjoy the town, we will have dinner in a tourist restaurant.
