Overview
Our Sun Gate tour offers you a one day tour by horse, from Ollantaytambo to the Sun Gate, with beautiful scenery all along the way. The horses are looked after a local professional team in horseback riding and adapted to these kind of jobs.

DAY 1: Sun Gate tour Itinerary
Early in morning we pick you up 6:00 am from your hotel or air Bnb within cusco city. the drive itself is most interesting as we have amazing view of the mountains also passing through a few towns trailhead. The drive to Ollantaytambo is about 1:30 minutes. and we will be staring our horse riding to sun gate will be way up about 3:30 minutes to get to our destinations SUN GATE
The cachiccata route is a good option to only do a one-day tour and the scenario it offers is incomparable with no many visitors.
Our Sun Gate route is a mountain with many attractions. The temple of the sun is a stone construction, with an amazing entrance. In front of the temple, we have a wonderful view over the mountain of Veronica, the third largest mountain of the region of cusco with 5682 meters high.
The sun gate is a sacred place for many people who visit the place, people who believe in the Andean religion, this is the perfect place to make their offerings and to connected with mother earth, we have people who go as pilgrims just to feel the positive energies and connected with them.
The route to the entrance of the sun we will also have to visit the quarries of the Incas which is located at the base of the black rock mountain.
