Once the capital of the powerful Inca Empire, it was here, right in the main square, where many pivotal moments of history took place. According to chronicles, even the last Inca who resisted the Spanish conquest was executed in this very place.
Known as The City of the Sun, Cusco was the heart of the Inca world, much like the Maya and Aztec centers in Central America. From humble beginnings, the Incas built a glorious civilization whose legacy remains visible today. Its impressive stone architecture, perfectly carved temples, and sacred sites stand as a timeless testament to their engineering genius and spiritual strength. Cusco is not just a city, it’s a journey through history, culture, and the enduring soul of the Andes.

Itinerary
DAY 1: Cusco City Tour
At 1:00 pm, our guides will be in your hotel, to pick you up and take you to the main square, to start the tour of the city. The first visit will be to the cathedral and the temple of the sun, later we will take the tourist bus to the four ruins that are on the top of the mountain of Cusco.
The first one will be the extraordinary Sacsayhuaman, and the second one will be Tambomachay., that is from one to ten minutes in our car, here we will see the temple of the water and after that comes Pucapucara, Qenco.
This tour will be until we finish visiting the four Inca archaeological centers, and then we will return to the city of Cusco to your hotel.
What is included in our tour. A professional guide who is trained to do this tour with a knowledge. Our team of guides are native from the city of Cusco, and they speak the city’s native language, which is Quechua or Runa Simi.
They have the knowledge that they got from their parents, a work from generation to generation.

DAY 2: Exploring inca territory
Pisac and Ollantaytambo. Early, we will go out of the hotel like around 8:00 A.M., to the sacred valley of the Incas. Our visits will be very important to learn about the Inca culture.
Pisac Inca Side. To get to this incredible Inca ruins, it will take one hour. We will have our own car for visits. We will stop by very important places to take pictures. Pisac was a very important city in the time of the Incas. What draws attention are its huge terraces of agriculture, that shows the Inca engineering work. The terraces draw the hill in a very important city. Other work is made of stone and dirt adobe from the same area.
The Inca cemetery is a magnificent work for the Incas, as they took advantage of the mountain to bury their dead making mummifications of the body, using native plants from the area. Later, we will follow the Vilcanota river with destination to Urubamba to have lunch in one of the touristic restaurants. After that, we will continue driving towards the archaeological park of Ollantaytambo, where the visit will be like for an hour.
We will visit the temple of the sun, we will also see ceremonial centers, and the adobe constructions that were warehouses to store foods such as potatoes, corn, coca leaves and many more. We will walk down for about 10 minutes from these ruins of Ollantaytambo, towards the train station to go to Aguas Calientes. The accommodation will be a touristic hotel, where you will spend the night.

DAY 3: Machu picchu ruins.
After a breakfast in your hotel, we have to take a bus to continue to the Machupi cchu ruins. The time that it takes go get to the point of visits is about 30 minutes.
When we arrive at the door of this wonder of the world, we have to show the documents to enter and explore the tour inside Machu picchu., which last two and a half hours maximum. This means that we will visit very important landmarks, then you will have an hour to explore on your own.
Later, we will go down in bus going back to Aguas Calientes, which will take the same time of Arrival to Machupicchu. After that, we will go to the train station to take the train towards de city of Ollantaytambo. From this point, we will drive our bus to the city of Cusco and your hotel. The route from Ollantaytambo to Cusco will be approximately one hour and 30 minutes.
